With Adobe Express, your only limit is your imagination. This powerful application significantly enhances students' creativity. During their final projects, students benefit from a user-friendly tool that enables them to quickly and easily create a one-page website. This allows them to use chronological and visual digital storytelling to present their projects to lecturers or external stakeholders. Adobe Express plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of final projects at Thomas More. Academic Software visited the Mechelen and Turnhout campuses to interview two lecturers about their positive experiences with Adobe Express.

Enhancing events, even in sports programmes
Bart Van Eemeren, an IT lecturer at the Turnhout campus, recognises the value of Adobe Express, even within their dynamic sports programmes.
“Our students frequently work on sports events, designing flyers, brochures, and posters using Adobe tools. Our third-year students annually organise Workout Wonderland, a major event for which they also create a website, flyers, and manage social media. They use Adobe Express to showcase these materials. I introduce a few key functions, and then they take over independently because Adobe Express is highly intuitive. Because it’s compact and user-friendly, students can produce a ready-to-use event flyer in just one 90-minute class! This saves valuable time for both lecturers and students.”
Quick and easy: from an idea to a one-page website
“Adobe Express has a low barrier to entry.” says Thomas De Weerdt, a video lecturer at the Ham Campus in Mechelen. “It’s an intelligent tool that enhances students' final projects, allowing them to create video reports with photos, text, and engaging ‘behind-the-scenes’ footage.
My students and I primarily use Adobe Express to create one-page websites, enabling us to quickly transform an idea into a fully developed site with images and text. Personally, I find Adobe Express to be the most comprehensive tool for creating one-page websites.”

Adobe Express offers a range of powerful features that make a real difference. “The ability to work with ‘blocks’ is great. It allows students to effortlessly add text boxes and images, constructing their final project websites in a structured, chronological way. Additionally, Adobe has incorporated Firefly AI tools within Express. These tools enable users to generate templates from a simple prompt, allowing them to finalise the design before adding content.”
Easy access and support via the Academic Software platform
Both Bart and Thomas agree on the benefits of the Academic Software platform. “Students navigate the Academic Software platform with ease. At the start of the school year, they receive a brief introduction, clearly explaining what’s available and how to contact the helpdesk. They register their licences independently and receive support when needed. Students frequently tell us that their questions are answered and resolved quickly—a great testament to Academic Software’s support,” concludes Bart Van Eemeren enthusiastically.
