Servicedesk Engineer
You will be joining Academic Software, the software team under the umbrella of the Signpost Group that delivers a unique platform that delivers software for students/researchers at school. Academic Software acts as an intermediary for the purchase of software licenses (such as Microsoft and Adobe) and offers an online software portal with +1200 software titles for secondary and higher education.
We are currently looking for a Servicedesk Engineer to support our growth and strengthen our entrepreneurial, dynamic team.
What does your day as a Servicedesk Engineer Academic Software look like?
As a Service Desk Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You focus on their support and help them with all kinds of questions about the use of our products. You are mainly in contact with our end users who have practical questions about licenses, downloads, login details, how-to install, delivering advise, optimize support intake, helping in building software tiles, scripting and so many versatile support activities.
If your help does not solve the customer's problem, you refer them to the correct department cross the Signpost Group (e.g. introducing training, allocating hardware issues, unburden digital questions).
As a Servicedesk Engineer you possess the following skills:
You have a strong affinity with computers (software) and can look back on a first relevant work experience with customer support
You have great language skills and can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English
Other language skills are a great plus
You are service-oriented and flexible
Your customer focus enables you to support and satisfy your customers at all times
You are always eager to expand your knowledge and learn new things
